No Tricks, Just Treats: Families Celebrate Halloween at Hurst Texas Stake Center

Families from Hurst, Watauga, Haltom City, North Richland Hills and Fort Worth areas gathered for an annual four ward (congregation) Trunk-or-Treat event in the parking lot of the Hurst Stake Center on Saturday, October 30, 2022.

Over 30 cars were decorated for the spooky season, providing a fun and safe place to pass out candy and host tailgate-style games for parents and kids to enjoy.

The Bagley Family dressed in “Star Wars” theme.

“Our kids had a great time at the Trunk-or-Treat event and we loved seeing new and old friends. People were so creative with the games and the ways they decorated their trunks,” said Brynnly Bagley, a member of the River Trails 1st Ward (congregation). She added:

“As someone who lives far from family, it’s nice to have a strong sense of community within our wards and neighborhoods to celebrate the holidays with dear friends.”
