Hurst Toy Drive Collects 140 Toys for Kids

The Single Adults in the Hurst Texas Stake hosted a drive-thru toy drive on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 to benefit kids in the area. There were about 6 volunteers from the Single Adult committee who organized and staffed the event. They collected the toys and handed out treats. Dozens of families dropped off their contributions, with the toy drive collecting approximately 140 toys.

The toys will make a big difference in many family’s holidays.

After the event, Bishops (pastors) from the local congregations were invited to collect toys based on the needs of the families in each of their wards (congregations). They then distributed the toys to the families. Thank you to all who donated and participated to #LighttheWorld with Love.
