Requesting Design Help

Welcome! We’re happy to help you with your flyer needs for a multi-ward / stake event. Please remember, the design process takes time—allow for a two week turn-around and be available to go over drafts during that time.

We strongly recommend advertising AT LEAST one month before an event and NO later than two weeks before. This gives time for your invitation to be announced on Sunday, circulate via social media and allows others the time to use your flyer to show love, share and invite friends!

Getting Started

Please send a design request to the Website Administrator at hurststakeweb.admn@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Title

  • Purpose of activity / activity details (keep it brief)

  • Date

  • Who’s invited (only members, or friends and community too?)

  • Who’s hosting

  • Location with address

  • Time start and estimated time end

  • Dress code (when applicable)

  • What to bring or prepare for (when applicable)

  • Who to contact with questions—provide the contact info.
Please obtain permission from the individual to include their contact information.
(Additionally, a contact form can be created upon request.)

  • Optional—specify other particulars you want to be sure are included in the design such as:
    specific theme
    colors
    images
    links
    QR code

The Process

  1. After receiving your design request, a draft will be provided for your review within two weeks and revisions can be requested until the design is finalized.

  2. A final design is first to be approved by your organization presidency, and then either the Stake Presidency or the Stake Communications Director before it can be published online. We will provide help with this.

  3. The approved material will then be posted to the Stake website, social media and website newsletter. When applicable, the post will also include a link to print-ready files and a digital file to make it easy for anyone to love, share, and invite!

Note: Physical prints of the approved material are your, your organization or ward’s responsibility to produce and distribute. Print-ready files will be provided to you along with the final digital files.
