Granny’s Attic Give Away:

Granny’s Attic Give-Away is a Hurst Stake sponsored service project designed to help ALL members of the Stake. It’s for those who may be finished with their gently used clothes, shoes, household items and bedding while others could benefit from those items.

Is your closet or household in need of a few items? Do you believe in giving things a second life? This event is for you. You’ll find second-hand clothes, shoes, appliances and bedding all waiting for a new home—all for free.

Sat. Aug. 5 from 8:00 AM–12:00 Noon
The event will open to the public beginning at 10:00 AM.

Donations

The drop-off time will be Thurs. Aug. 3, from 5:00–9:00 PM at the Hurst Stake Center. Each person will be responsible for sorting, bringing and setting up their donations in the gym on the tables provided.

• ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE CLEAN, free of any damage or stains. All clothing must be laundered, free of holes, stains and be modest. Shoes must be paired and wearable.

• If clothes do not have a visible size, please mark the size with masking tape or some type of removable tag.

• Small appliances (toasters, lamps, strollers, etc.) must be in working order.

• If you want to give away large furniture/appliances DO NOT bring the large item to the Stake Center. Bring a picture printed out showing the item along with dimensions and contact information. Plan to hang the picture in a designated place in the gym.

School Supply Drive

Wards are encourage to collect the following items (new please) to drop-off on Thurs. Aug. 3 from 5:00–9:00 PM at the Hurst Stake Center.
