National Day of Service
In remembrance of 9.11 and to participate in the National Day of Service all members of the Hurst Texas Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and community members are invited to visit a hospital, fire or police station nearest to you or your church building and share with them a symbol of gratitude such as treats and a thank you card or take a picture with them, etc. Don’t forget to tell them the name of the church and share with them the location of your church building.
Afterwards, anyone who participated is encouraged to write a short account about their experience and send a picture to Anna Zenk at: hurststakeweb.admn@gmail.com to be (potentially) posted on the Hurst Texas Stake website.
