If you’re a junior or senior youth who’s looking forward to serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this Missionary Preparation Class is the place to be!
Mission Preparation Classes began Sunday, April 10th. If you missed the first class you are still invited to attend! Classes are at 5 p.m. at the Hurst Stake Center in the Relief Society Room. This is an 8 week course. Sunday dress is appropriate.
Purpose of these classes: To be better prepared to teach on a mission and to learn the tools used by the Missionaries: Preach My Gospel, the Book of Mormon.
Other areas of discussion and preparation
How to deal with difficult questions and situations.
How to handle rejection and still feel happy when things are hard.
How to recognize the Spirit better.
And many more topics of learning for missionary work!
Please Bring: Scriptures and a physical copy of Preach My Gospel (One will be provided if needed.)
