  • Generally, ward events are not posted on the Stake website. However, if your ward is holding an activity and members of the Stake and/or community are invited, please contact us with more information.

Family History
and Indexing

  • Yes! The hours of operation are:

    Tues. 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
    Help in Spanish is available Tues. 7:00–8:30 PM
    Wed. 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
    Thurs. 6:00–9:00 PM
    Sat. 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

  • The FamilySearch Center is inside the Hurst Stake Center (map). The entrance is on the north side of the building.

  • There is no charge to attend the FamilySearch Center. You will also have free access to many helpful online programs there as well.

Free Classes

  • The Hurst Texas Stake offers several classes throughout the year focused on temporal and spiritual topics. For more information, visit our registration page here.

News

  • Anyone is welcome to submit an article for publication consideration. If you have a story idea that is focused on an uplifting event or personal spiritual experience that the community would enjoy reading about—submit your idea here.

  • We are looking for anything uplifting, praiseworthy or of good report. The article can be about but not limited to:

    • your involvement in a community event
    • faith-based experience
    • personal story of growth

    If you have an idea, submit it here. We’ll be happy to discuss it with you.

  • There are a couple of ways:

    You could wait for the subscription box to pop up on your screen (it shows up once a week.)

    Or, you can contact the website administrator to get you set up. Click here.

  • There are two ways:

    Open your newsletter and scroll down to the bottom. Tap or click on the “unsubscribe” link.

    Or, send a message via this form to the website administrator and you’ll be removed your from the email list.

Sunday Services

  • Members of the Hurst Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints welcome all visitors and know it can be a little easier when you know what to expect. Read a quick guide here.

  • While local congregations (wards) are organized by geographical area, we welcome visitors at all buildings and worship services. If you have questions or want to make plans to attend a service, contact us here. Or ask any member of the congregation you are visiting.

Support Groups

  • Friends and community members are welcome to attend. If you have specific questions please visit the link for the support group you’re interested in and send your query via the electronic form.
